Fruit flavored yogurt
For some time now plain yogurt has been of great help to diabetic people but when it comes to yogurt that is flavored that’s a whole different story. Flavored yogurts are usually loaded with a lot of carbs and sugar and made from low fat milk or no fat milk.
A cup of flavored yogurt contains around 45 grams of sugar and as we have already seen you need to avoid sugar as much as possible. If you are diabetic just consider having whole-milk yogurt because it will spike your insulin and blood sugar which is beneficial to your health.
