4. Enlarged organs and lymph nodes
Patients with different types of lupus often have swollen lymph nodes. They might not be initially evident, but a skilled doctor will be able to detect them in different parts of the body. Another common finding is hepatosplenomegaly. In other words, patients have an enlarged liver and spleen. In some cases, the pancreas is also affected by the disease and patients have chronic pancreatitis with chronic abdominal pain.
